Perfect weather continues…

Good morning 6:20am.
North shore chest high and clean.
Ala Moana waist high and clean.
Diamond Head head high and bumpy.
Tradewinds strong today at 25mph. Tomorrow gone.
Sunny and warm.
Going surfing and surfing.
Have a wonderful day!

Just like Summer…

it’s January and it feels like Summer! the waves were so good today at Ala Moana! sunny and warm too!

so happy to surf with Taki-san today. we started in the inside and ended up catching sets from the outside. so exciting!

Hirano-san is very active just like her twin sister Ozaki-san. just riding wave after wave…

was good to see Pumpkin back on Winter break from the mainland. such a sweet girl just like her mother…

i couldn’t believe how many waves were ridden today! Taki-san got some of his best waves of his life!

and Hirano-san was taking off from the top of the wave and flying down!

great surfing guys!!!

and amazing lunch too! see you guys tomorrow morning for more waves of a lifetime!

i just love this avocado sandwich. the healthiest on the island…

then went to pick up Ueki-san right after and paddled right back out to paradise! perfect waves and only 1 other guy out? really? yes, really!

Happy Boys Day!

Hiyo-kun told me he was 19 years old? omg, i’ve been surfing with this kid since he was 12! so good to see progress each and every year…

good job Hiyo-kun! you had lots of energy and lots of good long rides!

Papa Masaru-san was ripping on his shortboard. very nice bottom turn!

we are so fortunate to get good waves like this in the Winter months. warm weather and great rides in December is a very lucky combination.

thank you boys for the amazing surf session!

then went to pick up Nakahodo-san. he wanted to surf a different spot than we usually do so we went to Rock Piles Rights. so good!

and so shallow! good to stay focused like this to prevent injury…

we stayed out till the golden moment…

good job Nakahodo-san! see you again for a day of Foil Boot Camp!
