Still solid overhead at Ala Moana. Little bumpy morning conditions. But Good!

woke up extra early this morning and set up my new watch Maki-san gave me. this watch actually gives the surf report! not as accurate as mine, but pretty good. haha. now all i have to do is take a photo of my watch every morning and post it on my blog for the surf report. so easy! i love it! ala moana bowls 4-6′ this morning and good. you got that right!

i swear that this is by far the best ever summer in hawaiian surfing history. we are so lucky!!!!

had another marathon surf day with Hashimoto-san. gosh, the waves were even bigger than last time! so big that there were only a few surfers out on a sunday morning! unbelievable! boot camp in full swing! endless summer continues!

then us hungry surfers went to eat a power poke bowl followed by shave ice with azuki beans and ice cream. perfect for the afternoon nap.

went to check out point panic. the “bodysurfing only” spot on the south shore. in fact, on the whole island! only had 2 bodysurfers out. shucks, i wish i had my fins!!!!

gosh, it was just another hot and beautiful blue day. even 2 coconut trees looked so beautiful.

then went for a late night gelato snack. the line was crazy, but well worth the wait to cool down. i ate cold dessert twice in one day! yeah!

just opened my goodies up i got from my wonderful friends in tohoku. thank you always for your kindness! can’t wait to see you all again!
