look how beautiful diamond head was in the morning. just pure beauty as the sun rose for yet another perfect day in paradise.

when ever i see tourists trying to take pictures of themselves, i always offer to take one for them. these 2 girls looked like they were from europe or something when they pulled up to diamond head on their bikes. i offered to take a photo and then one of them started to speak japanese. i was surprised. anyway, this shot looked cool so i asked them if i could take a photo too. they said of course and this is it. CHEESE!

2 girls enjoying their vacation in paradise. looked like they were having so much fun.

want to thank Umino-san for sending me the info on the new Kikaida movie coming out on may 24th. i MUST see it!!!

i will never forget swimming with the whale sharks in the maldives 2 years ago. it was one of the highlights in my underwater life. i can’t wait to see more.
tradewinds are back. weather is warm. south swells are coming. stay tuned for a great summer! go-naminori!

Happy Mother's Day 2014!

first, i want to wish all you mother’s out there A Happy Mother’s Day! especially my own mom! if it wasn’t for you mother’s, none of us would be here now! thank you for the wonderful life you have given us!

felt great to head out into the ocean for a surf and snorkel. this morning was so dam beautiful! good waves and clean water.

panorama view of waikiki to diamond head. the best view in the world.

we went for a surf, waves were chest high and super clean. i was so happy to be back into the wild!

i was scrubbing Mayuki and couldn’t believe how clean the water was. if the water was this clean in panama, i would have speared 10 huge yellowfin tunas. they were there but i just couldn’t see them. anyway, i didn’t feel like killing today so i just snorkeled around enjoying hawaii’s beautiful underwater world. tomorrow same thing!
