where am i? right on the blue dot right now. a couple of mexican guys told me this is one of the best places for free diving in the whole entire mexico. glad to be here!

The 7th Annual Mexican Shootout starts today! we will be out from 7am to 4pm these next 2 days. stoked! oh, and just found out that all the fish will be donated to the orphanage in La Paz. what a cool tournament.

did about 100 dives the past 2 days. and probably 150 more in the next 2 days. all deep, and all very long. i had to go 52′ and stay down for 2 minutes for the fish i caught yesterday. i came up and wanted to throw up. lucky i have a dive buddy watching out for me.

i’ll get back at 4pm and show you what we caught. the pelicans will be waiting once again for the scraps. have a wonderful day!

this morning was just another amazing golden start. we were on the boat riding into the sunrise.

dolphins jumping everywhere. one huge dolphin even jumped right on the side of our boat. so high and so fast and so long. longer than any sea world jump. this is the real thing!

Kyle and Cathy Nakamoto have every trip planned out. all i do is come and enjoy the ride. everything so organized, everything so smooth, and everything so perfect.

Kyle and Cathy always make poke on our trips too. this is spicy tuna poke, hawaiian style!

and this is limu poke made from the fish we caught yesterday. can’t be any fresher than this.

and they even cut up the ono we caught into sashimi. all you can eat sashimi? priceless!

we have a cool crew from hawaii. Mike on the right is a dentist in hawaii and that’s his son Eric on the left. they just started spear fishing and this trip is going to take them to another level! i still remember being a virgin to spear fishing. everything amazed me, and still does. these guys must be freaking out.
well, gotta wake up early again. the tournament starts so i’m just going to look for the biggest fish possible. not interested in small fish on this trip so my eyes are wide open. there will be 12 competitors teaming up 2 so total 6 teams on 6 boats. where will everybody go tomorrow? i don’t know. and where will we go? i don’t know. our team name is “Go Big and Go Home.” haha. good night from full moon mexico!
