South shore knee/waist high. Clean conditions at Ala Moana.
Strong tradewinds today at 15-25mph.
Partly cloudy morning/passing showers, becoming sunny later.

President Obama WINS!!!

i’ve been eating some good food recently. good food, good surf, good times, and good friends. here is Toda-san about to eat his prime rib.

this has to be the best prime rib on the island of oahu. secret spot so please don’t ask me where.

then last night had the freshest dinner with Inaida-san and Yuki-san. Gaku is the best japanese izakaya in hawaii and i love it there. the asahi beers, the sashimi, the uni shooters, the oysters, and the master chefs. everything good and i always leave there a very happy man.

had fun surfing with Morita-san this morning. He just got married a few days ago and is in the honeymoon stages. he has a very kind wife to let him go surfing today. we had a fun session and i was so stoked to see him catch so many long waves. then we ate curry and drank a smoothie at Da Spot, bought malasadas, and went home.
the waves might be small in town but if you have the right surfboard, you will have a blast! sunny skies, off shore, fun waves all week long.
