Full Size Rainbow Day!

this morning Bowls was totally flat!  so i took Uehara-san to Kaisers. much more power, much more shallow, and much more locals…

it’s fun watching surfers do the rock dance.  haha.  it’s actually pretty hard to walk on these rocks if it’s your first time.

i don’t care how small Kaisers is.  if it’s breaking, it’s barreling!

it was only Uehara-san and i surfing the whole spot to ourselves.  then a canoe came out and surfed on the side.  then the rainbow came out and stayed with us the whole time.

then this girl from New York came out.  she came to Hawaii last August and never went back home.  she told me “i’m never going back home.”  haha…

this is where you take off.  it only gets shallower when you ride the wave.  and guess what?  it was high tide!

the rainbow would come and go.  and when it came, i was trying to get the perfect photo because it was Uehara-san’s first time seeing a full rainbow.  so here he is smiling the whole way!!!  got it!

then went back out this evening with Ai-san.  and guess what?  the full rainbow came back!

started off at sunrise, ended at sunset.  another gorgeous day and it’s only been the 3rd day of year!  Happy 2020!

Portuguese Sausage, Eggs, and Marajuana

omg, check out my lunch!  i was craving portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice.  so i just make it at home…it started January 1st of this year, it’s now legal to carry marijuana on you.  yes, believe it or not, you won’t get arrested.  if you get caught with 3 grams or less, you will simply get a ticket.  similar to a parking ticket.  i think this is the first step to legalizing marijuana in Hawaii.  i’m against it because i know every single kid will smoke it if it’s legalized.  and it is not good for a kids brain… a 76 year old man was waiting in his car while his wife was shopping at Ala Moana shopping center.  next thing you know, a guy jumps in his car, pulls out a knife, takes his wife’s bag, and beats the man up until he got his rolex watch off his wrist.  the elderly man was beaten up and bleeding while the thief got away. yes, it happened mid day right in the front parking row.  this island is getting crazier and crazier by the day.  so i’ll say this again, don’t wear luxury watches or jewelry anymore.  if you do, somebody will be watching you…i went to take a family to eat Waiola Shave Ice in Kapahulu.  we were standing behind these 2 girls wearing only their little bikini.  Kapahulu isn’t the beach, it is a city.  i told the 13 girl i was waiting in line with, “hey, don’t you ever do something like this ok.  at the beach is fine, but not in the city…”then one of these girls pulled out her money from her bikini bottom and paid for her shave ice.  the little 13 year old girl i was with was really surprised.  so was her Mom and Dad.  and so was i.  if i knew these girls, i would have scolded them…
